Mike Taylor is President of Lifestyle Construction for GreenPointe Developers.
In his role, Taylor leads the design and construction of all amenity and lifestyle-related ventures in GreenPointe’s communities throughout Florida. His responsibilities include coordination with the company’s regional teams and oversight of all lifestyle construction-related activities including budgets.
Prior to his current position, Taylor was managing day-to-day operations and leading GreenPointe’s vision and growth in Northeast Florida. He joined the company in 2017.
An industry leader with more than 35 years of experience, Taylor has been involved in more than 50 residential development projects with a total value of more than $920 million. Taylor’s executive experience includes building and construction management for local, regional and national firms including John Wieland Homes, FrontDoor Communities, McCar Homes and LandSouth Construction.
Additionally, Taylor led development and construction efforts for Hines in the creation of the Palencia DRI in St. Johns County. His expertise spans multiple product segments including single-family, multifamily, golf, office and retail. Taylor has completed numerous residential developments and commercial real estate transactions with C-Level management responsibilities throughout Florida and Georgia.
Taylor serves on the Developer Council for ULI Northeast Florida, the Northeast Florida Builders Association and served as past Chairman of NEFBA’s Sales & Marketing Council. He is a certified General Contractor licensed in Florida and a graduate of Indiana University.
