As a former Regional Vice-President for Crescent/LandMar Group, Miars worked for Ed Burr and Roger Postlethwaite and successfully managed a region with four large-scale master-planned communities that generated more than $150 million in land sales revenue.

Prior to his seven years at Crescent/LandMar Group, Miars was General Manager/Senior Project Manager for the award-winning developer, The Bonita Bay Group. He demonstrates his passion for community by volunteering and serving on numerous boards. Miars is chairman for African Caribbean American Catholic Center (AFCAAM), an after-school reading and mentoring program in Fort Myers that strives to help people help themselves through empowering programs that offer hope, challenge the culture, and promote self-reliance and human dignity. Miars earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Rollins College with Double Major in Economics and Environmental Studies and M.B.A in Finance from Florida Gulf Coast University, Lutgert College of Business.
