Greenpointe Communities Names Johnny Lynch South Florida Manager

GreenPointe Communities, LLC, proudly announces the addition of Johnny Lynch as South Florida Manager.

In his role, Lynch is leading and overseeing the development and construction of Veranda, the company’s master-planned community in Stuart, Fla., and actively pursuing acquisitions across South Florida. Lynch is based in Jupiter, Fla.

“Johnny has exceptional knowledge, industry expertise, and highly regarded professional relationships. We are fortunate to have him on our team,” said GreenPointe Holdings President and Chief Executive Officer Ed Burr. “South Florida is a very desirable area for young professionals, families and retirees. We are confident Johnny will make valuable contributions in helping GreenPointe acquire properties and create communities that are known for their lasting value.”

An industry leader with nearly two decades of professional experience, Lynch has extensive knowledge of residential and commercial land development. He previously managed land development for a national homebuilder and is experienced in all facets of land development, construction and engineering management. Lynch is well suited for GreenPointe’s culture. He has brought numerous communities to life including master-planned, infill redevelopment and luxury waterfront single-family homes. He also managed the development and construction of a solar energy center in South Florida.

“GreenPointe has an esteemed reputation throughout the industry, in part because Ed Burr and Grady Miars are ambitious and passionate about land development while simultaneously leading with integrity and candor,” Lynch said. “GreenPointe allows me to be both entrepreneurial and creative in designing and developing tomorrow’s South Florida communities.”

Lynch earned a master’s in business administration from Florida Atlantic University. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Florida, where he was a member of the Gator’s 1996 NCAA National Championship football team.

“My college football career, albeit with limited actual game experience, was amazing and a product of hard work,” Lynch said.

An active volunteer, Lynch has coached numerous youth football teams in Southeast Florida and served four years on the Board of Directors, including as President, of the Jupiter Tequesta Athletic Association Pop Warner football program.
